Set aside about 20 minutes (depending on the size of your family) and allow everybody, one by one, to express why they are thankful to God for Jesus.
During your opportunity to share, talk about how Christ has changed your life since you asked Him to come into your heart. Some benefits of receiving Jesus in your heart are listed below to help you while in conversations with your loved ones.
Some Benefits of Receiving Jesus in Your Heart
- Divine Safety and Protection
- Supernatural Healing, and health

- Wholeness spirit, soul, and body
2. Give devotional booklets as gifts to your family and friends.
3. Give short books dealing with the subjects of fear and depression to your family and friends as a gift.
4. Invite them to attend Christmas Eve or Christmas Day church service with you.
Tips for Sharing Christ with the General Public
1. When addressing people, say "Merry Christmas," instead of Happy Holidays. Followed by asking them what plans they have for Christmas. As the conversation unfolds, share with them why Christmas is so important to you. Once you've finished sharing, ask them why Christmas is important to them. Before the conversation ends ask them if they have ever asked Jesus to come into their heart.
For further assistance on how to minister to them please go to our Salvation and Rededication page and watch the videos on how to minister salvation and or rededication.
2. Always begin your conversations with a smile. 3. Be kind and courteous. 4. Begin conversations while standing in line, shopping, or while receiving, or waiting for some type of service. Before the conversation ends, share with them that today they can give themselves the best Christmas gift by receiving Jesus in their heart. For more assistance with this scenario see the Benefits of Having a Relationship with Christ under Tips for Sharing Christ with Family and Friends During Christmas.
5. Share why you have an attitude that Christ is the reason for the season. Below are starting examples:
- The reality is that Christ came to give His life for man and through Him alone man can receive everlasting life. This is what I believe, what about you?
- Give your personal testimony sharing with them what Jesus saved you from and how He did it. Ask them if they have had any experiences with God. - During a conversation with them ask if they have had a loved one who recently made their transition. If so, ask them if you can pray for them and their family. Share with them how God's supernatural peace helped you when someone close to you made their transition.
For further assistance on how to minister to them please go to our Salvation and Rededication page and watch the videos on how to minister salvation and or rededication.

Salvation Prayer
God, I come to you in the name of Jesus. I believe that your Son, Jesus, died on the cross for my sins. I believe that Jesus is no longer in hell, but that He has risen from the dead.
