Here are some tips for sharing Christ with your family and friends as you gather together this Thanksgiving.

1. Host Thanksgiving Eve or Thanksgiving Day dinner at your house.

Set aside about 20 minutes (depending on the size of your family) and allow everybody, one by one, to express what they are thankful for and why.

During your opportunity to share, talk about the goodness of God and why you are grateful for Him sending His Son, Jesus. Listing some of the benefits of having a relationship with Christ (see example below) will help your loved ones without Christ to see why they need to receive Him in their hearts. Example: Benefits of Having a Relationship with Christ - I am never alone. God is always with me. - I am not worried about my future. God supernaturally provides for me. - I have no fear regarding what's going on in the world; God is my supernatural Protector. - I have supernatural peace. I am not concerned about how I am going to make it. - I'm not worried about getting the next virus, Jesus is my shield and defense.

2. Send thank you cards to family members or friends, expressing why you are thankful to God for your relationship with them. Then, share with them why everyone should be thankful to God for His Son, Jesus. List the benefits of receiving Him in your heart (scroll to the bottom of the article if you need help with this list). Don't concern yourself with mailing out the card before Thanksgiving Day. The day is not important. It's the message of your thankfulness for them and for Jesus that is important.

3. Invite them to attend Thanksgiving Eve or Thanksgiving Day church service with you.

Tips for Sharing Christ with the General Public

1. Always begin your conversations with a smile.

2. Be kind and courteous.

3. Begin conversations while standing in line, shopping, or while receiving, or waiting for some type of service.

4. Share why you have an attitude of thankfulness. Below are some examples:

- So many people didn't make it to experience this Thanksgiving Holiday, but we did. I'm grateful to God. How about you?

Should the person respond positively, agree with them, and afterwards ask them: Have you ever asked His Son, Jesus to come into your heart and save you? - These few years have been tough on everyone. But I'm thankful to God for bringing me through. What about you?

Should the person respond positively, agree with them, and afterwards ask them: Have you ever asked His Son, Jesus to come into your heart and save you?

- Begin a conversation sharing with the person why you are so thankful for Jesus. Share your testimony about what He has done for you. Allow the person to respond.

Afterwards, ask them: Have you ever ask Jesus to come into your heart and save you?
