Whatever may be troubling you today or causing you to experience fear in your life, will not win today! You must believe that. For God has already seen the problem and has decided that you will win in Jesus’ name!
Espousing God’s attitude about your situation will help you handle the spirit of fear in His way. When you do so, you will discover that the grip of fear that is controlling your life and those hostile emotions that are regulating your very being will be unleashed. It is then that you will be free to reclaim your path to the life you deserve.
Satan’s sole purpose for laying the spirit of fear at your doorstep is to steal your faith. He will persuade you to embrace his lies about your marriage, your family, your job, your future, and your finances. This is just his way of stripping you of your hope and the future God has willed for you.
Fear is a paralyzing emotion that will rule your thoughts and leave you trapped in a never-ending cycle of trepidation, worry, anxiety, suspicion, uneasiness, timidity and apprehension. These emotions are not from God so, rid yourself of them. God’s word tells us, “We must act to defeat the spirit of fear. The action taken is: Casting all your care upon him; for He cares for you.” 1 Peter 5:7
In Greek language, the term “cast upon” is to “give up to God.” therefore, it is God’s will for you to cast your cares, anxieties and the fears that are controlling you upon Him! Allow your faith in God to defeat your fear in His name. Refrain from allowing the devil to oppress you and manipulate your mind, your body, your soul. Cast your cares onto God! He is BIG enough to handle them all!
Once you cast your cares onto God, let them be. Don’t reclaim them. Many will cast their problems over to God and then pick them up a few days later. This is usually due to a lack of immediate change in the adverse situation or a continued focus on the problem instead of a renewed faith in God and His supernatural provisions.
Remember, even if things look as if they are not improving don’t be moved. Time is not the determining factor for your wins or your loses. For God can redeem time, if necessary. Keep in the forefront of your mind, the devil’s use of time as a ploy to manipulate your mind. His goal is to get you to focus on time. God’s power to insure your wins knows no boundaries.
Don’t fall prey to Satan’s tricks and moves. Rather, tell him NO in Jesus name! I won’t allow fear to govern and control my thoughts and actions. I will NOT live in fear! Once you take your stance against the devil and resist him and his lies in Jesus name, his only choice will be to flee! For according to James 4:7, “Submit yourselves, therefore, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”
The devil is your opponent, therefore, treat him as such. “For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds. Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.” 2 Corinthians 10:3-5
No matter the situation, your God is SUPERIOR! Live by His word and purposefully rebuke fear. Watch Him deliver you from your troubles. According to Psalms 91:15 “He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him.” Praise God as the uncompromising righteous one. For you are never without His support.
No matter how unwavering the situation may seem, God is in this with you. Therefore, your outcome has one option...VICTORY!
Do not allow fear to hang around in your life painting a picture of doom and gloom. Rather, boldly shout out, “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” 1 Timothy 1:7.
The spirit of fear must go in Jesus name! Focus on what God has given you – POWER...Supernatural POWER! The Greek word, Dunamis means power—a miraculous power, a miracle working power. It also means, might, ability, strength and force. It does not include fear or timidity. Embracing the miraculous power of Dunamis dissolves all fear.
Always remember that it is because of God’s intense, unfailing love for you that He wants and desires for you to cast over to Him, all your fears. “There is no fear in love; but perfect love caste out fear.” 1 John 4:18. God reminds us that mature love, love that has matured or grown to its fullest, cast out all fear!
Finally, have faith in His word and the love He has for you! Embrace His love for you by casting all your cares onto Him and abstain from worry. Trust Him. Claim your victory, give Him thanks, and rest in His LOVE!
