Regardless of what you are facing today, or what mountains of difficulty are staring you in the face, I encourage you with these words: “YOU ARE NOT ALONE!” I know that you may feel like no one really understands what you are going through and that no one truly cares, BUT I want to remind you that you are not by yourself. You are not without help and isolated. Your GOD has not left you and He has not forgotten about you. His plan is to give you VICTORY in and over the negative circumstances and situations in your life.
Remember what God said to His covenant people in Isaiah Chapter 41:10, 13 and allow those words to bring you comfort because as a born-again Christian you are in covenant with God too!
“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. 13 For I the LORD thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.”
In the midst of your struggles and battles, don’t allow fear to overtake you because God is with you! He is advising you not to be alarmed, rattled, or shocked by what the enemy attempts to do, rather look to God to supernaturally strengthen and fortify you. He will cause you to become stronger despite the seemingly overwhelming challenges. He is encouraging you to solely rely on His divine help and expect that His Heavenly resources will totally overcome the snares of the enemy.
He will continue to sustain, preserve, protect, and defend you! So, don’t allow yourself to be fooled by the strategies and the lies of Satan, and don’t permit fear to advance in your heart. Choose to firmly fix your eyes on the faithfulness of God and expect Him to perform His good Word in your life.
Psalm 57:7 says, “My heart is fixed, O God, my heart is fixed: I will sing and give praise.” The Psalmist David understood that even when danger, problems, and anxiety surrounded him, his heart had to trust in God while his soul continuously praised the God of His salvation! David decided to give it all to God. First Peter 5:7, in the Amplified Version of the Bible urges believers to do the same—to relinquish anything that will cause them anxiety.
“Casting all your cares [all your anxieties, all your worries, and all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares about you [with deepest affection, and watches over you very carefully].”
God is saying, from time to time, situations and circumstances will arise in life that will cause you to worry, have anxiety, cares and concerns. However, He expects us to give every one of them to Him, refusing to worry or to have concern about them because we trust Him to handle the issues in our lives. Once you give whatever is causing you worry, anxiety, care and concern over to God, you must purposefully choose not to think about the situation anymore. When the enemy of your soul brings the issue(s) back to your remembrance, you must remember to say, “I gave that to God and He has already taken care of it!” And as you continue to walk in faith believe that God has done it for you! You will then see the result of your faith and you will experience the victory of overcoming the enemy!
First John 5:4 says, “For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.”
You are born of God and nothing in this world (or in this world’s system) can overcome you as you stay connected to your source of strength and power. The means of success that cause you to overcome this world and its negative effect are your faith in God—and in His word. Therefore, saturate yourself in His word and allow it to penetrate your spirit, soul, and body. As you meditate on God’s word regarding your situations and circumstances, answers will come to your spirit, peace will envelop your soul, and you will be strengthened to taste of the manifested victory!
