Dream Big!

One day I had a conversation with my grandfather about moving to another state to accomplish a goal that God had given me. I vividly remember his words, he said, “don’t get caught by, “would of, could of, and should of.” What he meant by that statement was, don’t allow your dreams to be forfeited due to fear of the unknown.

My grandfather shared with me how he had allowed fear to stop him from living out his dream, and he did not want me to make the same mistake. Therefore, he encouraged me to follow what I believed God had asked me to do.

In this article, I plan to do for you what my grandfather did for me. I am encouraging you to DREAM BIG, and to follow your God-given dreams!

Dreaming is merely seeing yourself somewhere that your feet have yet to travel. It is imagining something that you have yet to achieve, and tasting the success of it, before it is lived out.

Dreaming is a motivator. It can help to propel you to your future, and as you sincerely begin to pursue your dream, it will provide a picture of the improved you!

What dream has God placed in your heart? What have you been dreaming about? What have you been envisioning? Your dream, and what you’ve been envisioning becomes your reality before it becomes reality because it is all you’ve allowed yourself to see. Therefore, dream as clearly as you can.  Write down what you see and keep it before your eyes. Speak out loud what you see, and in time, you will experience what you saw!

The world is waiting on your contribution. Therefore, do what is required to bring your dream to past. Make self-improvements where necessary, because you can only give the world what is in you. Consequently, be the best person that you can be for yourself, and for others. Allow your dream to display to you your unseen potential, and to inspire you to GROW and to achieve.

Furthermore, choose to believe in your dream. Believing in your dream changes the way that you see yourself and your future. Dreams have a way of driving negativity away and causing you to embrace the unseen, instead of allowing what you currently see to dictate your future. Believe!

Lastly, below are powerful tips to help you to DREAM BIG and successful!

Scripture Meditation:

Habakkuk 2:2-3 (KJV)

And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.

Proverbs 23:8 (KJV)

“… For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he:”

Philippians 4:13 (AMP)

I can do all things [which He has called me to do] through Him who strengthens and empowers me [to fulfill His purpose—I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency; I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him who infuses me with inner strength and confident peace.]
